Pacific Regional Connectivity Program Phase 4 - Kiribati Connectivity Project

The Government of Kiribati has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Pacific Regional Connectivity Program Phase 4 – Kiribati Connectivity Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.

Bwebweriki NET Ltd (BNL) is inviting interested persons for its vacant position of the Stores & Admin officer, which is currently existing within the organisation.

Scope of Works: Stores & Admin Officer:

Introduction

The Stores & Admin Officer plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, handling shipments, and ensuring proper storage. This role contributes to improved workplace efficiency, safety, and inventory accuracy.

Scope of Work/Tasks

Under the supervision and guidance of the Finance & Administration Manager, the Stores & Admin Officer will perform the key responsibilities below:

  • Receiving and Inspecting Goods

  • Efficient Shipment Handling

  • Proper Storage

  • Accurate Inventory Records

  • Inventory Management

  • Reporting & Control

  • Enhanced Productivity

  • Improved Office Administrative Efficiency

  • Improved Workplace Efficiency

Safety Compliance: Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate expertise in inventory and office management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Form 6 Certificate

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including storing and management of goods.

Desirable Requirement:

  • Demonstrable expertise in using MS Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Sound knowledge on storing and management of goods.

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a team environment, including engagements with field technicians, outdoor plant and admin personnel is preferable.
